😱🙏 !! RESCUER UPDATE !! 🙏The STRESS continues to mount for our rescuer !!
On top of the 50 cats that they are directly responsible for in their own home whilst they wait to be adopted, and the many cats in the UAE that they are indirectly responsible for, there are still a number of EMERGENCIES at the clinic that need to be taken care of and our rescuer has no means to do this without our help!
The bills have got so high at the vets that our rescuer is worried every time they show their face in case money is demanded of them!
PHOENIX (pictured) is still waiting at the clinic for more of the surgeries that need to be performed to help save her vision. It breaks our hearts to see her there as she is so miserable …
DIEGO (pictured), the black and white tripod, undid his stitches on his newly amputated leg which resulted in a further trip to the vet! He is now, once again, sporting his ‘cone of shame’ whilst his wound finishes healing
SAMAH (pictured), who was found with the most horrific injuries to her stomach and legs is also at the clinic needing 4 surgeries if she is to survive! Despite everything she has been through, she is the most friendly girl, always seeking attention when her rescuer goes to check up on her
On top of the ENORMOUS costs of surgery, it also costs £20 per cat per day just to board them at the clinic! You can imagine that it doesn’t take very long for the bills to skyrocket!

Even on the very rare occasions that our rescuer has managed to secure a fosterer in the UAE to accommodate one of the rescued cats so that they don’t have to find room in their own home which is bursting at the seams with felines, they still remain financially responsible for the cat until a home is secured.
Blanche (pictured), a deaf and blind white fluffy cat, is one example of this.
Because our rescuer can no longer physically manage to accommodate any more cats in their home, fosters are in URGENT need in the UAE!
Unfortunately, most fosters in the region expect to be paid for their services, in addition to our rescuer covering the costs of the cat, and Meow Meow Rescue simply does not have the funds to cover these extra expenses

Not only do we need fosters in the UAE who can help us to look after the cats until they find their forever homes in the UK, but we are also in DESPERATE need of fosters in the UK (both those with other pets and pet-free homes) so that we can bring over some of the cats who aren’t happy in their current environment, or who will be losing their foster soon so, once again, facing life on the streets!

There are MANY terrible cases that our rescuer has to deal with on a daily basis
One such case is that of KATRINA (pictured) who was kept in a filthy tiny cage for 8 years whilst she was forced to breed so that her kittens could be sold!
She was dumped at the clinic and our rescuer took her home because they feared that she would be put to sleep if she stayed there
Unfortunately it was soon discovered that Katrina was heavily pregnant and is due to give birth any day now!
More mouths to feed and more homes to find means yet more work for our rescuer!!!

Hoarding situations are, regrettably, not uncommon in the UAE. What starts off as rescue and trying to help cats in need on the streets, can quickly spiral out of control when homes are not found for them there, particularly the Arabian Maus who, with their short coats, are not desired by the local populace
These cats, tragically, end up spending years of their life in a cage, the stress of which can cause them mental and physical anguish
Our rescuer has been working hard to find (preferably) pet-free homes for these cats but, whilst they are waiting for an adopter to come forward, the stress causes issues such as painful UTIs
Poor friendly TARA (pictured), who is sister to Tilly, mother to Kitty and auntie to Puffy who have all, thankfully, found homes, is one of these cats who has recently developed a stress-related UTI

As if all of this was not enough for our rescuer to have to cope with, they also have to deal with cats being dumped at their home because others do not want to have the responsibility of taking care of them, and in constant 24/7 receipt of messages, voicemails, pictures and videos depicting injured and dying cats, being BEGGED to take them to the vet, bring them into their home and find homes for them. All of this is too much for one person and does take its toll on our rescuer’s physical and mental health

RESCUE UPDATE!!
Life has been particularly tough in the rescue world over the past few weeks!
Pregnant cats found dumped, poor Casio (who has recently been adopted) needing a further two surgeries, rotten teeth that need removing, ringworm that needs treating … the list is endless for our rescuer who is literally drowning in bills!
There has also been much heartache with kittens, who had the worst start in life, not making it through their surgeries.
There are still so many cats undergoing treatment and, even when the poor kitty does not survive, the bills remain to be paid.

OUR RESCUER NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
One of the most DEDICATED rescuers we all know needs your help/support to get 7 of her rescues home to the UK!
The RESCUER dedicates her life to SAVING these precious souls in desperate need but she is extremely overloaded with rescue cats and vet bills and desperately needs to free up space to be able to help other cats in desperate need
We are trying to raise £1800 which will go towards 7 of her rescue cats flying in May!
Please note it costs roughly £600 to send one cat in a L60 crate!
This will greatly help the rescuer to free up much needed space and time as she is at full capacity now and can't help more until we can get these home!

RESCUE UPDATE!!
Our rescuers continue to be inundated with new cases requiring lots of urgent medical attention.
The white fluffy cat was dumped under a car. We believe that they were sold for breeding but once they found out that the cat has ringworm and an eye problem they just discarded the poor kitty!
The cat with suspected Lupus, named Angel by her rescuer, is still being treated. It is looking like it may be an allergic reaction rather than Lupus. She is on very expensive sensitive dry food now and is managing to keep this down. More tests are needed including a series of costly blood tests to look for allergies.
This other little kitten has a growth on his leg. It could be a cyst or a tumour, we will not know without further investigation.
Sun baby is requiring ongoing teeth surgery. This kitty alone has an outstanding bill of 1100 AED (£224)
All these extra cases on top of existing ones is too much for our rescuers!

RESCUE UPDATE!
We are having a very busy week with new cases.
Two kittens were left with a rescuer who needed to bottle feed them. They are now sick with toxic shock and are in the vets getting treatment.
Other cats were abandoned in the vets awaiting to be PTS (put to sleep). One 2 year old female has suspected LUPUS but we are awaiting to have further tests carried out as this could be an allergic reaction.
There is an 8 year old cat with Flu who needs treatment.
Another has ringworm and will need treatment.

RIP Buhaira and Myrna!
We are very sad to announce we recently lost two very Special souls
Buhaira and Myrna were both rescued from the streets with the hope of giving them a New Life!
They both had medical issues/birth defects at their time of rescue however we had high hopes for them but unfortunately it was out of our hands and they have both crossed the rainbow bridge

Urgent eye surgery is required for these two beautiful kitties and we need help.
Ugo was abandoned in a crate outside the rescuers home. He needs urgent eye surgery and neuter. The estimated cost is 1472 AED (£300). We have a £150 deposit but need help covering the rest.
Bubu also needs eye surgery. The estimated cost for Bubu is 1000AED (£200).
Makka, also needs help for her to be spayed. The estimated cost for a spay is 450 AED (£90).

UPDATE ON MEOW MEOW RESCUE - MILO & LINDOR!
Remember Milo that was walking the streets with a chopped leg and Lindor who had rotten skin and a cyst behind his ear?

Milo's amputation surgery was successful. He was then found to be in more pain with his teeth and needed dental surgery too.
This has all been done and Milo is now up for adoption!
Lindor had surgery to remove his cyst and this boy is also now looking for a new home.

UPDATE ON MEOW MEOW RESCUE -
URGENT CASE - NEMO!
Nemo is a street cat that URGENTLY needs eye removal surgery!
He's completely blind and was living on the street for quite a while. Nemo was begging for help from people walking past him and nobody stopped by to help this poor boy!
Blind cats have no chance of survival on the streets ! We all know what could happen to Nemo if he wouldn't be rescued!!!
We couldn't leave Nemo behind ! He's still a young boy and deserves happy, good and long life!
Nemo is in so much pain and discomfort! He needs HELP to cover his eye removal surgery!

UPDATE ON MEOW MEOW RESCUE - URGENT HELP NEEDED!
We're having at the moment too many sick cats on top of it, our extremely expensive case, Linda, with neuro FIP.
It's a lot to handle to cover all pending bills and also food for 50 cats and many of them need a special diet as well!
We need urgent SUPPORT to cover medical bills before our account will be blocked at the Vet. Keep it mind that to continue treatments the clinic needs to receive payments in advance.
Only within the last week, we had 3 surgeries done, amputation, eye surgery, cyst removal, and flu treatment. Is more than a cat per day. Please they all need URGENT SUPPORT!
MILO after his surgery to amputate his chopped leg is now at a foster and unfortunately, his teeth are also rotten and it needs to be fixed urgently. He is in a lot of pain and he's not eating well!
As we all know Bounty and PABLO have sadly passed away this week and we're extremely heartbroken !
Unfortunately, we still have pending bills left from their treatments, surgery, and stay at the clinic. It's devastating but we still try and continue to help our cats in care as we all love them so much and we only want the best for them !
KATRINA still has pending bills and we need to clear them before they can be discharged from the clinic!
Katrina urgently needs an expensive blood test to get to know what's wrong with her current health!
She is getting weak and not eating. Katrina is now at the clinic for force-feeding and waiting for a blood test that we can not afford.

LINDA continues fighting for her life, she has neuro FIP and botulism (similar to toxoplasmosis).
She is not a big cat, since the start of DS medication she increase weight from 2.1kg to 3.7kg but because her weight is up and down she has to be on a very high dose of GS medication. Each day she needs one full vial + and a little more, she also uses GS medication capsules. Each vial is 300aed-360aed (70£)
Every month she needs a comprehensive blood test of 350aed (70£) and sometimes she also needs sonograms 574aed (120£) and regular visits to the Vet to keep her alive and monitor her progress.
From being Paralyzed and not being able to move a single part of her body she is now walking!
Linda needs to go back soon to the Vet for her monthly blood tests but the treatments are very expensive!
Our vet bills are very high even food bills are becoming overwhelming (1000£ a month)! She is not the only special needs kitty under our care. We have cats that need special care, make sure they are taken for regular checkups at the clinic, from rescuer house, or all our foster houses. The bills are never-ending!

RIP Pablo and Bounty!
This week we have lost Pablo and today another extremely sad new as we have also lost Bounty !
Pablo had a surgery to remove a hernia and was in critical condition . He did survive the surgery and has woken up from anaesthesia. We have never expected losing him as he was a strong and happy cat !
Pablo was a true fighter till the end although after surgery he started vomiting as his lungs started to fill with fluids and we were completely heartbroken with the news as we had so many hopes for Pablo !
Precious baby Bounty fought his illness until last moment, until his body has stopped responding !
Both news were so devastating to our rescue as both kitties had families waiting for them and a bright future ahead of them !
Rest In Peace Precious Angels
Please say a prayer to the ones that lost their fight at our rescue We will continue to fight for your fellow strays!
Run free little angels!
WE WILL ALL TRULY MISS YOU!

URGENT - Please help save Bounty!
Bounty is a paralysed kitten who got an infection and now is on the balance between life and death. He needs support to be kept at the clinic. Estimated cost is around 1,500 AED (301£) it costs 100AED (20£) per day plus the cost of IV fluids.
We can not keep the cat at the vet if we cannot pay the bills!!!

UPDATE ON LINDA!
We need support to cover Linda's medical bills, food and her life changing GS medications!
Without the medication she cannot survive!!!
Linda has started her GS medications beginning of November.
She has dry FIP and Botulism!
But she does not give up and we will never give up on her!
Keeping her alive been a challenge to our rescuer as most Vet Clinics suggested PTS (put to sleep). When she's started the treatment she was not able to move her head or open her eyes! She had to be force fed, expressed to pee or poo and make sure sure she was moved from side to side to avoid muscle stiffness, not to mention exercises. Her temperature was in 34 and her survival chances were very low.
And look at her going now! She's a true fighter you can see the difference and progress she has made thanks to GS medication and her rescuer that did not give up on her!

UPDATE ON LITTLE!
We urgently plea to all our followers and supporters to help Little!
Little is in so much pain! He's currently on additional, very strong pain killers, due to poor boys pain, and will need his teeth extraction surgery to be done VERY SOON, while he's still on the pain killers or immediately after when the medication finishes!!!
On top of it due to Little's very low red blood cell count, he must continue to take injections called EPOTIN, which are very expensive. Originally it was planned for 3 weeks but he has been taking the injections every other day since November!

R.I.P Ayman!
Our rescue received tragic news today!
Our little boy was adopted by absolutely incredible Adoption Parents. They were so excited for Ayman to travel in December with his two other friends.
Unfortunately few days before the travel he suddenly started to change his behaviour, he looked constantly tired.
He's been rushed to the clinic. We were still hoping hoping that he will get better for his flight.
Whilst two of his feline friends travelled today to UK to the same fantastic Parents, we've received absolutely heart breaking news that Ayman has passed away!
The cause of a death was due to his foster given him antifungal oral medication for his ringworm that eventually has damaged his liver!
He was only 4 months old a healthy boy!!!!
The medication was prescribe by 2 different Vets. His ringworm was gone and also his life The risk was not worth it at all!!!!
Medication given to Ayman was:
Itraconazole: (oral anti fungal medication) - even small dosis can be dangerous for some cats
THE RISK IS TRULY NOT WORTH IT!!!!
Are there any potential side effects for Itraconazole?
The most common side effect observed with itraconazole use is lack of appetite.
Other significant side effects include skin lesions that ulcerate (break open) and swelling of the extremities.
Liver toxicity and inflammation of the blood vessels may also occur.
Signs of liver toxicity include yellowing of the eyes, skin, or gums, vomiting (that continues), severe or bloody diarrhea, painful abdomen (stomach), or changes in behavior. In cats, gastrointestinal effects such as lack of appetite, vomiting, and weight loss, as well as liver toxicity can occur.
When using the oral solution, a temporary increase in saliva production occurs occasionally.
This moderate-acting medication should stop working in a few days, although effects can be longer in pets with liver or kidney disease.

UPDATE ON Meow Meow RESCUE (more and more suffering)!
Milo is one of our new cases that we couldn't turn our back to! His leg has been chopped (we don't how and when) as you can see on the picture! We don't know how long he has suffered! He needed our help! And we couldn't leave him behind!
He's currently at Europet Vet Clinic in Sharjah (UAE) amputation surgery has been done this week! He has been on antibiotics for few days now and is recovering now after the surgery, overall is getting better day by day

UPDATE ON LINDA!
Linda is our true FIGHTER!
For the last 2 months she was fighting with toxoplasmosis and after several blood test done at the Vets it has indicated that she does have NEURO FIP!
She urgently needs special recovery food, nappy pads, wipep, help to cover her extremely expensive GS medication and unbearably high Vet bills.
Linda has started to gain weight which means she needs more GS medication and she's already on a very high dose of it.

UPDATE ON ERIK!
We're sure everyone remembers Erik!
One day he was rushed to the Vets and poor boy ended up in diabetic coma. After multiple blood test he was diagnosed with diabetes.
He is much better now However, he must take insulin twice a day.
On top of it Erik needs teeth extraction surgery (picture 1) bill is attached below (picture 4).
Without a HELP we will not be able to continue rescue more kitties in need.
We're also taking care of special needs cats that need gastro food, recovery food, cat wet wipes, nappy pads, insuline even GS medication for Linda.
Not counting food and regular visits at the Vet!

Another loss at our rescue We have many cases and these two little angels arrived at our rescue just few days ago, we didn't have a chance to even set up a post for them
The blind kitten on the left was fine just the other day, playful and was eating well...
Rescuer found both babies laying down and both have crossed the rainbow early hours in the morning
It truly breaks our heart to see them go and that we couldn't even give them life they truly deserved
We're not sure what was the cause of the death which breaks our heart even more.

UPDATE ON BABY KITTEN CALLED MYRNA!
Remember our recent UPDATE on our rescue? One of the kitties from the post included Myrna the baby kitten with a big tummy.
This is her today her with her sister Tatiana (last picture)
Myrna is now on Gardia medication and probiotic and she's doing so much better.
Both babies will be up for adoption soon and we are taking reservations for those beautiful cuties!
Myrna and Tatiana are very chatty girlies and thry absolutely love the attention.
However, we need HELP to cover follow up appointment and vaccinations at the Vet for Myrna and Tatiana!

UPDATE ON LINDA!
Few days back Linda would not be able even to move her head or neck and her temperature dropped to 33 Celsius!
Linda is on trial medication for FIP and it's been 5 days of GS treatment and Linda's body temperature started to regulate and she can move her neck! Unfortunately medication for FIP are extremely expensive and she needs monthly blood tests, recovery food, recovery liquid, pads, wet towels. The cost is absolutely heart breaking!
Linda is a true fighter and her rescuer and us will never give up on her! There's nobody else in this world that knows her better than her rescuer.
She has been taken to many Vet Clinics and they have diagnosed her with toxoplasmosis, that there is no life quality for her and she should be euthanized. We can't do that to her! She wants to live! And she is fighting!
Please HELP LINDA!

UPDATE ON OUR RESCUE!
There's never time to rest at the rescue!
Few days back a blind kitten entered our rescuers back garden to seek for shelter. Thankfully he got to the right place and we could not turn our backs on animal in need of safe place!
We have no funds however we still continue to help as much as we can!
Our cases are never ending and very overwhelming!
Please see descriptions under the pictures to get to know our current cases.
In the last 2 weeks, 11 of our rescue cats contracted a cat flu but thankfully all are getting better now We still need more antibiotics, eye drops and we also need to provide probiotic for all 50 cats to help their immune system to fight possible flu. We cannot risk all cats becoming ill!
On top of it we need to provide specialised food for IBS cases in our care, gastro food for sensitive stomach for kittens fighting gardia and their diarrhoea, urinary diet and also normal dry and wet food for rest of out cats in our care
We need as much help as possible and we can't do this without you!

UPDATE ON FELIPE!
If you have been following our page, we're sure everyone seen or remember Felipe!
So far it is the most expensive case we had at our rescue. Felipe had been at the Vet for over 4 months, he went through a lot of medical treatments and we have been told he is very aggressive and dangerous to handle.
We're so happy to announce FELIPE is now free and out of the clinic!!!

ALBERTO
You may have seen our recent adoption post for Alberto, gorgeous fluffy boy.
Poor boy Alberto had to be rushed to the clinic. Our rescuer noticed blood in his urine.
He is now on antibiotics and special diet.
After his first consultation he was back home with our rescuer. However, he could not pass any urine and was getting really uncomfortable.
He had to be rushed again to the clinic!!!
Alberto is now staying at the Vet for closer observation!
Please pray for Alberto lets hope he will get better very soon!

If you remember mommy cat this is her other baby she was staying with at the clinic. She passed away yesterday Angel was very fragile and weak her little body could not cope anymore

UPDATE ON SPECIAL NEEDS CASES AT OUR RESCUE!
Here are some cases that are and have been so far very expensive to our rescue. We need support in any way possible!
From blood test, vaccinations to major surgeries and treatments.
All above are extremely expensive and we work hard to get every kitty in our care back to good health.
We do struggle and sometimes we fail as some will require so much more than expected that we can't physically cover!
Most importantly we do our best! And will continue to help but we cannot do that without support and help from our supporters and followers!
Our cases and bills are growing and we can't keep up with overwhelming bills!

R.I.P our dear boy!
This is the answer to why INDOOR ONLY!
Especially special need cases like a rescue boy below, that went through traumatic experience in the past and surgeries to remove his infected eye.
This one eye boy has been attacked by a Fox, already adopted! Vet couldn't save him!!
We can't say enough how important it is to keep cats indoors! Why risking the chance of being attacked by wild animals, hit by a vehicle, being poisoned or abused by humans, attacked by cats or dogs, causing being infected by other cats or causing serious injuries that lead to absces. Why the torture? Yes, some may be lucky and live happy long outdoor life but most aren't, unfortunately!
And this must be spoken about!
This boy lost his life by not his fault!
No one can understand how hard is to save a cat, how much each rescuer needs to sacrifice to treat a cat and keep him away from the streets! This is not the first time this happened! There was other cases where cat was killed by the neighbour's dog and other cat that has frozen to death as all UAE cats are not use to UK/European climate!!!!
Please research the breeds! Or simply ask rescuers for more information about the breed!

Black is one of our URGENT CASES and is now at the Vet Clinic!

She can not talk, she has no owner, she's nobody's cat!
Black depends on us to live and she’s is one of 2 cats at the clinic that need surgery urgently!
She was TNR'ed (trap neuter release) and possibly released to quickly on the street not giving her a time to heal.

Nobody wanted to help Black and we're not sure how long she was on the street in this state!

Linda ❤ - URGENT CASE!
Linda was a healthy kitty and one day poor angel woke up like this (please see video)
She needs many blood tests at the moment, however, we have multiple pending bills as too many kitties been taken to the Vets due to emergency cases, treatments, check ups and vaccinations, almost on daily basis.
She is a small lady and deserves a chance. We suspect neuro dry FIP disease and Vet needs to run tests in order to know for certain.

LION - URGENT CASE!
Lion has broken leg and blood was found in the urine.
Poor Lion was found on the street extremely injured. Luckily one of our rescuers been nearby and couldn't left Lion in this condition
He's now at the Vet Clinic, however, we need help covering his vet bills in order to continue helping poor Lion

He has been now 3 months at the Vet Clinic and we received a bill for nearly 4K aed only in the last 24 days and he may stay for another 1 or 2 months

UPDATE on Erik!
Erik is still in a coma with his temperature jumping up and down
Reacuer is still waiting for blood results that clarify more information for us.
3 days ago he had cortisol injection as he had severe gum infection. Since then he was slowly stop eating or drinking. Poor Erik would throw up after drinking water and was becoming very ill
Erik had a terrible life he was dumped on the street by his owner. Rescuer saw him being abused by kids, on top of it other tom cats have been attacking him on a daily basis. One of our rescuers decided to take him in.
This was not life for poor Erik
He is the most loving cat ever and he loves people However, he doesn't get along with other cats.
We need your help with covering our pending bills as so many cats ended up at the Vet Clinic only in one day we can't afford to keep going

Our precious Erik has been rushed to the Vets today and is under the care of a Vet and Nurses.

Manisha's Update and throwback from her first interview with BBC!
Manisha's had a very busy day in between interviews with BBC Radio Leeds in the morning, BBC Look and also the evening bulletin.
She has also visited the lovely team at the amazing Northcote Vets.
Manisha's adoption parent and also rescuer at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue has a plan for Manisha, which will involve a staged surgery plan, but before that, she must build up her strength with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and some daily sessions spent in her mobility scooter.
Manisha went through an operation before arrival to Katie. She had an abscess between her tail and her back upper legs.
The surgery was successful and after numerous tests, ultrasound and treatments rescuer needed to prepare this beauty for her travel as she had her Forever Home waiting for her.
When Manisha arrived she settled straight away!
Manisha's lower spine is completely shattered, her pelvis is misaligned, one of her hind legs is a rigid as a pencil the knee joint is back to front... the tibia and fibula are in a very strange position...(and will need amputating), her bowel is irregular and her other hind leg is completely useless at this time...however Katie at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue has hope with a lot of work this may improve.
Katie says, "from the waist up, Manisha is perfect" and we always knew how precious and perfect this beautiful angel is when she was found on the streets. She needed to be rescued and here she is living her best life possible.

TRULY HEARTBREAKING NEWS AT OUR RESCUE!
On 15/08/2021 our sweet boy Ramsey has crossed the rainbow
He was dumped at one of our rescuers door, sad and confused!
Rescuer was struggling financially to cover all his vets bills and didn't receive any support for many days.
Ramsey's leg was dislocated, tail was in awful state. He was at the clinic for 2 weeks fighting for his life with a severe flu!
We all hoped he will make it...unfortunately his body couldn't take it anymore and we lost our precious Ramsey and the fight for his life
We will all MISS YOU RAMSEY there will be no more pain in heaven! Rest in Peace our precious boy! We will never forget you!

Panther is 2 years old and had been treated, neutered but unfortunately he still lives on the streets as foster or adopter has not been found!
He is black, street kitty and with only one eye.
Panther stays in a building compound where he is safe and fed at the moment but we're desperate to find foster and loving, safe home for him.
He always follows everyone to their home, had does not want to be left on the streets.
No one has offered to foster him so far after we tried reaching out to everyone we could know. However, black kitties aren't amongst the most popular kitties in UAE and they believe that his chances of getting adopted is equal to none!
We don't believe that as like any kitties, fluffy, tabby, domestic or pure breed all deserve good homes and good life!
Boarding for kitties are very expensive and normally cost up to 250£ a month which we don't have the funds for!
We need help of any kind!

ARRIVAL OF ANOTHER SERIOUS CASE AT OUR RESCUE!
Mumma cat has delivered 3 babies and is safe for now thanks to one of the rescuers!
However, we need support in order to help her!
As you can see on the picture she has one eye missing also rotten mouth, high temperature and severe under weight.
We need to pay upfront to cover her teeth and eye removal also she need to spayed. She is now at temporary foster but we cannot afford to keep helping her without any funds.

MANISHA NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Manisha been at the clinic for sometimes now and she is getting very stressed out waiting for her day to travel!
Manisha will be travelling on 13th of August and her adopter will be covering full relocation cost and helped us to cover some of her medical bills however this was only a small portion.
Manisha had to go through very expensive surgery and boarding at the vets is also very expensive, on top of it all treatments and tests that had to be carried out during her stay.

WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP!
The kitten (1st image) suddenly got very bad. In the morning kitten was much better but then all of a sudden he collapsed and Vet had to keep him on IV fluids and tomorrow will return to foster home.
Ramsey is not doing well after surgery, and needs to return to the clinic.
2 kittens, both need surgeries that can not be done until the vet bills are covered.
There's still few more cats that need treatment at the moment and paralised kitty Manisha is at the clinic and 4 special needs are on streets
Our heart breaks as we cannot afford to save the special needs kitties from the streets and take them to the vets
Felipe has been the most expensive case we had so far. We have never expected treatment and recovery will take so long at the clinic. It has been very costly and we never knew he would need so many surgeries. When Felipe was rescued we never noticed how bad his case is and how much in pain he is.
The problem is never ending surgeries after that kitties keep getting sick and our rescuer have to be in and out the clinic almost on a daily basis.
When kitties are recoveree they will need to be relocated to their forever homes as locally no one wants to rehome special needs kitties.
On top of it foster and treatments are the issue as all kitties need to be fed with special diets, recovery food and constant visit to the clinic for common issues like gingivitis.
Litter, bed, toy, toothpaste, brushes , etc... all are adding up and they can be a huge expense for us as well.
We know all the posts are very graphic but this is the situation of stray kitties in UAE and we want to update all of you that we do our best we can.
Without your help we cannot continue.

UPDATE ON OUR RESCUE!
Another extreme case with no funds or support This poor kitten was found by one of our rescuers on the streets
As mentioned before, in our previous post, this is our another urgent case that we cannot keep at the Vet until we will clear all the vet bills or pay upfront at the clinic in order to start the treatment
The kitten is only 3 months old and urgently need a support to keep him at the clinic
We already have 3 cats at the Vets, their treatments/surgeries/boarding are very expensive
He has a chance to survive but he needs to stay at the clinic for at least few weeks

Manisha needs help for her treatment!
Manisha been hit and run by a car, left on the street until a kind man decided to rescue her. She finally has found a forever home, however she has extreme abscess on her back and her injuries will not allow her to travel.
Today she had her first surgery to remove the abscess but this is not an easy treatment and very much costly!
We believe she deserve a better life! She may not be able to walk but she can definitely improve! She deserves better life and happy ending.
From first time our rescuer met Manisha, she fell in love with her playful and beautiful personality! She doesn't see in her a disability but a kitten full of life and dreams of forever home!
Same as our rescuer We believe in Manisha and we want you to believe that her life will change, that she is getting a second chance in life but she needs our help to make it happen.

UPDATE ON FELIPE!
Felipe is still at the clinic and his bill is keep going up!
His recovery is slow but steady!
He has to continue his treatment and he still have an issue with his leg. One of his legs still has a bandage and need to be changed very 5 days.
He is a senior kitty, with a short vision and very severe case of ear mittens that damaged his hearing.
Please help Felipe to cover his surgeries and travel to his new home in Scotland as there is no hope for him on streets.

UPDATE ON MEOW!
Meow has ring worms and is still has on going treatment.
She's recovering so well! She can move now and is receiving physiotherapy, however, one of legs is little twisted and it might still need few more visits to the vet. Overall her health improved and is not the same cat from the time when she was rescued from Animal Market.
Meow will still more need time and more vet visits and we're hoping she will approve even more.
She's still to young to be vaccinated so we will wait for the right time

Everyone around was suggesting to euthanize Meow as she was in so much pain but look her now and she keeps improving!

Message from the rescuer:
This is Felipe today. He keeps improving but he still needs vaccination, one more surgery and trio test plus he has to stay at the clinic for full recovery that costs 100 per day.
He will travel to Scotland in August but we need help with his relocation cost.
Felipe had an eye surgery, 2 leg surgeries, severe ear mites infection that is affecting his hearing. He keeps improving, however, his treatment hasn't been completed yet and needs to get well in order to travel.
I can not do more than I have so far. Felipe is depending on your mercy.

URGENT SUPPORT NEEDED due to Felipe's another SURGERY!
Felipe's recovery journey:
He looks more better but today they have to do a second surgery for him as his leg is not as good as it should be and in 2 weeks he will need the third surgery that we can not afford. Rescuer, can not keep covering his bills at the clinic as they are even more cases and cats to treat, it's very overwhelming situation.
Felipe also have a severe ear mite problem that is probably the reason why he was looking so drowsy and was not reacting as normal to the sound.
He needs urgent help as he will need to stay at the clinic longterm in order to recover.

Manisha's Story!
Manisha, paralysed kitty, was found on the street with severe injury. We're not sure how the injury occured, possibly she was hit by car or been hurt with enormous force.
Many pedestrians walked passed her and some instead of taking her to the vet, where she should have been taken at first place, have tried splint her injured leg with a lump of wood.
Thankfully, she was saved by one of our rescuers and she's at the Vets now.
However, we need help in covering her vet bills, which can be very much overwhelming, and transferring poor Manisha to EuroPets for more specialist care
On top of it we have other emergency cases to look after and surgeries to cover as well

URGENT HELP AND SPONSORS NEEDED FOR STRAY KITTIES IN UAE!
Our rescuers are based in Dubai, and are doing everything they can but the situation is getting out of hand.
We get more and more emergency cases and cannot cope with the expenses at the vet clinic, boarding costs at vets and surgeries!
On top of it due to expenses at the vets we're running short on food, litter and diapers for paralysed kitties.

If someone post one single cat everyone ask why the cat stay on street ?
Simple, the person can not afford the vet bill, can not afford to take more cats. Please tell me how many cats anyone can handle ? 1-10 or 100. How many vet bills one person can will handle and by the way is not right just to bring cats at the vet and don’t cover the bill as the clinics, rescuers have rent to pay and life to handle as well. Recently I accepted to help 2 ladies, one with 67 cats and other with 38 cats, as there is no one else to bother, they are so many call them self rescue who just dump cats on others and they never follow up, they never offer to cover vet bills, send a single kg of food or get a home . They never bother to take the car and visit the place to see the cats conditions. Guys a photos are not enogh, this is a life commitment not a toy .
No one can foster because they have already a cat but they will ask those who are border line hoarders to take the cat.
The people who comment mostly disappear at the time when bills need to be covered.
Right now ; Felipe still need more surgeries after 2 weeks 100 dhs a day plus 1000 plus each surgery , this white kitten need treatment and the other kitten need eye removal. This will be probably other 3,000 more.
As few people ask me to help some fosters homes I ended with dozens of cats for spay and neuter on my shoulders and picking ups cats to vets almost daily.
How any one expect that I do it all alone ?
I also need to spay and neuter around 20 cats that been in cages for years!
I need crates for cats to travel 70L and 60L!
- Cats need food
- Training pads
- Litters
Yes I have my own rescue and try to help near 100 cats on my own.
Need people who willing to share responsibilities and save these cats!
